What is collected

Nothing, by this site. There is no account system, no contact form storing submissions, no newsletter, no advertising, no analytics script, and no cookie set by openroots.org.

The licence configurator runs entirely in your browser. The answers you give it are never transmitted anywhere and are not retained when you close the page.

What the host necessarily sees

Serving a page requires a request to reach a server. The hosting provider processes the connection metadata inherent in that request, which typically includes an IP address, the requested path, a timestamp, and a user agent string.

This is a technical necessity of the web rather than a collection decision, and this project does not read, retain, aggregate, or analyse those logs.

Fonts and third parties

Typefaces are bundled into the production build and served from the same site. Reading a page does not make a browser request to a font provider.

No third-party analytics, tag manager, social embed, session recorder, or advertising pixel receives a request from these pages. Ordinary links leave the site only when a reader chooses them.

Your rights

Where a data protection regime such as the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, you hold rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

Because this project holds no personal data about you, there is in practice nothing for it to disclose, correct, or delete. A request would be answered with that statement.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including them.

Changes

If this site ever begins collecting anything, this page will say so before that starts, and the date above will record the change.
